A small dog was found together with a female dog in Reguły, in the commune of Michałowice. He arrived at the shelter on July 23, 2026. He’s waiting to go home. MATI—a little sensitive soul who is learning to trust again. Mati came to the shelter on July 24, 2026. He was found wandering around Reguły along with his canine friend, Selenka. He’s about 2 years old and is a small, charming pup with a whole life ahead of him—hopefully as soon as possible by the side of a loving human companion. Mati is cautious but shows absolutely no signs of aggression. At first contact, he can be somewhat distrustful and may bark from his kennel—but that’s just a smokescreen for his fear. Mati is incredibly calm and gentle. He allowed us to remove a large number of ticks and trim his painful dreadlocks without any trouble—he endured it all with great patience. We’re only just getting to know each other, but Mati is already showing that he enjoys human company and happily accepts petting once he feels safe. The world outside the shelter still slightly frightens him. On our very first walk, he wanted to return to his kennel, but he handled it beautifully when Selenka was by his side—he walked right next to her, drawing courage from her presence. We’re looking for a calm, understanding home for Mati—one that will give him time to adjust and rebuild his sense of security. He’d be perfect paired with another stable, confident dog (for example, adopted together with Selenka or in a home where a guide dog already lives), who would boost his confidence during walks and show him that the world isn’t so scary after all.

Niewielki psiak znaleziony razem z suczką w Regułach, w gminie Michałowice. Do schroniska trafiłł 23.07.2026 r. Czeka na powrót do domu. MATI – mały wrażliwiec, który uczy się ufać na nowo. Mati trafił do schroniska 24 lipca 2026 r. Został znaleziony, gdy wraz ze swoją psią przyjaciółką Selenką, błąkał się w okolicach Reguł. Ma około 2 lata i jest małym, uroczym pieskiem, przed którym całe życie – oby jak najszybciej u boku kochającego człowieka. Mati jest ostrożny, ale bez cienia agresji. W pierwszym kontakcie bywa nieufny i potrafi poszczekać z boksu, ale to tylko zasłona dymna dla jego strachu. Mati jest niezwykle spokojny i łagodny. Bez problemu pozwolił na usunięcie dużej ilości kleszczy i wycięcie bolesnych dredów – zniósł to z ogromną cierpliwością. Dopiero się poznajemy, ale Mati już pokazuje, że lubi obecność człowieka i chętnie przyjmuje głaski, gdy tylko poczuje się bezpiecznie. Świat poza schroniskiem jeszcze go nieco przeraża. Na pierwszym spacerze chciał wracać do boksu, ale doskonale radził sobie, mając u boku Selenkę – szedł tuż przy niej, czerpiąc z niej odwagę. Szukamy dla Matiego spokojnego, wyrozumiałego domu, który da mu czas na adaptację i odbudowanie poczucia bezpieczeństwa. Idealnie odnajdzie się u boku drugiego, stabilnego psa (np. w adopcji w dwupaku z Selenką lub do domu, w którym żyje już pies-przewodnik), który doda mu odwagi na spacerach i pokaże, że świat nie jest taki straszny.
