Maverick is a young, active tabby and white cat. He has been tested negative for FeLV and FiV, is identified, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. Maverick is a social cat who enjoys human interaction. He is not shy and adapts well to new environments and people. He loves to play, wrestle, and chase balls dozens of times. While he may not curl up on your lap by the fireplace, he's more likely to snuggle with big headbutts and follow you around the house. Maverick is a chatty cat, especially during meal time, and enjoys getting responses from his owners. He can be stubborn when it comes to food and won't hesitate to nip at your legs if he feels like the service is too slow. He's very curious about his surroundings and would thrive in an environment with a garden, but can live in an apartment and even walks on a leash in quiet areas. If you have other pets, Maverick will be happy to play with them (after some time to adjust), as he gets bored quickly without stimulation. Maverick has a mild heart murmur that doesn't affect his daily life, but requires a lifelong low-dose treatment (Fortekor) and annual veterinary checkups (cardiac ultrasound). History: Found outside. Ideal placement: A home where he can run around and jump on some furniture, with a family who will take the time to play with him every day and provide stimulation, and ideally with access to the outdoors or the possibility of walking him on a leash in quiet areas. Age : né le 01/01/2025 Identification : 250 269 611 834 300 Caractéristiques physiques : Beau chat tigré et blanc. Testé FeLV et FiV négatif, identifié, stérilisé et vacciné. Caractère : Maverick est un jeune chat très actif qui aime le contact humain. Il n’est pas timide, s’acclimate très bien dans un nouvel environnement et avec de nouvelles personnes. Il est très joueur, aime faire la bagarre et courir après des balles des dizaines de fois. Ce n’est pas un chat qui montera sur les genoux au coin du feu, il est plutôt du genre à câliner à coups de grands coups de tête dans le front et à vous suivre un peu partout dans la maison. C’est un grand bavard, surtout à l’heure de manger, et il aime qu’on lui réponde ! Il peut avoir son petit caractère quand il s’agit de nourriture, et n’hésite pas à mordiller les jambes quand le service est trop lent à son goût ! Il est très curieux de son environnement et s’épanouirait d’autant plus dans un lieu avec jardin, mais il peut vivre en appartement, il se laisse même sortir en laisse dans des lieux calmes. Si vous avez d’autres animaux, il sera très content de jouer avec des copains (après un temps d’adaptation), car il s’ennuie vite lorsqu’il n’a pas de stimulation. Maverick a un petit souffle au coeur qui ne le gêne pas du tout dans sa vie quotidienne, mais il a besoin de prendre un traitement léger à vie (Fortekor) et d’avoir un suivi annuel chez le vétérinaire (échographie cardiaque).
