Meet the cheerful Max, a 6-year-old mixed-breed dog. Max came into our care after his owner passed away. As a result, we don’t know much about his past, but here he clearly shows who he is. Max is a calm and affectionate dog who loves being close to you—both indoors and outdoors. He keeps a close eye on you, because naturally, if you head somewhere, he’ll want to come along too. Being left alone isn’t really his strong suit; in such situations, he may start barking quite a bit. Playing isn’t really his favorite activity, but he absolutely loves wandering around together with you. Outdoors, he pays little attention to what’s going on around him. He enjoys it when people or other dogs stop by for a quick hello, but then he calmly goes back to doing his own thing. Max is used to walking on a leash; he’s never known what it’s like to run free. For Max, we’re looking for a quiet home with one or two adults, without children. He gets along well with other dogs and loves playing with them. Here, he’s found a playmate in Daisy! Still, he’d prefer to be the only dog in the house. Sometimes he can be a bit dominant, which means living with another dog might not always be pleasant. Max is eager to find a loving home again. Maak kennis met de vrolijke Max, een kruising van 6 jaar. Max is bij ons terechtgekomen nadat zijn eigenaar is overleden. Daardoor weten we niet veel over zijn verleden, maar hier laat hij goed zien wie hij is. Max is een rustige en aanhankelijke hond die het liefst bij je in de buurt is, zowel binnen als buiten. Hij houdt je goed in de gaten, want als jij ergens naartoe gaat, wil hij natuurlijk mee. Alleen zijn is dan ook niet echt zijn sterkste kant; dan kan hij veel gaan blaffen. Spelen is niet echt zijn favoriete bezigheid, maar lekker samen rondstruinen vindt hij geweldig. Buiten heeft hij weinig aandacht voor wat er om hem heen gebeurt. Hij vindt het gezellig als mensen of andere honden even gedag komen zeggen, maar gaat daarna weer rustig zijn eigen weg. Max is gewend om aan de lijn te lopen; loslopen kent hij niet. Voor Max zoeken we een rustig thuis bij één of twee volwassenen, zonder kinderen. Andere honden vindt hij leuk om mee te spelen. Hier heeft hij een speelmaatje gevonden in Daisy! Toch zal hij in huis het liefst de enige hond zijn. Hij kan soms wat dominant zijn, waardoor samenwonen met een andere hond niet altijd prettig is.
