Missy came to Farplace as part of a litter of six kittens, and all of her kittens have now found their new homes. Missy is still waiting for hers. She’s a gorgeous, long-haired girl who is super friendly with people, although she definitely has a bit of a sassy side! She enjoys having her own space and her own comfy bed, and she’s a big fan of sunbathing whenever she gets the chance. Missy isn’t particularly keen on sharing her space with other cats, so she’d be best suited to a home where she can be the only cat and have all the attention to herself. Missy has been diagnosed with IBS and is currently undergoing further investigations and scans to make sure there isn’t anything else going on. She is meant to be on a special diet, although she’s a little bit of a fussy girl when it comes to food! Once we’ve got to the bottom of her health issues and have everything well managed, she’ll be ready to find her forever home. As a long-haired lady, Missy needs regular brushing. She tolerates this with the attitude you’d expect from a sassy little queen, but her new family will need to keep on top of her grooming. Missy would be perfect for someone who is happy to give her her own space, a comfy bed, plenty of sunshine and lots of love, while also being able to continue with any ongoing care she may need. A secure catio would be wonderful for Missy, but isn’t essential. As with all of our cats, Missy will leave Farplace spayed, microchipped and vaccinated, with her flea and worm treatment up to date, and following a full health check. We’ll also provide you with a full copy of her veterinary records to keep for your own records when she goes off to her new home. Indoor-only policy If you feel you could offer this lovely cat the right home, please email for an adoption questionnaire. We can then arrange a home check. We are happy to consider homes up to around two hours’ travel from the rescue. Any further than this can make it difficult for us to offer the support we feel is important after adoption.
