Our Nando has a name that many initially think of a tomcat - but in fact she is a cat. Her story is closely connected with that of Sunfyre: Nando was found as a small stray and raised by the cat mother Granda together with her own kittens, one of which was Sunfyre. The two are only a few weeks apart and have spent their entire childhood together. Nando is an open, curious and people-oriented cat. She actively seeks contact with her trusted people and is very interested in everything happening around her. Playing, exploring and enjoying attention are simply part of her. Like Sunfyre, Nando has chronic cat flu. In daily life she copes well, but occasionally a veterinary treatment may be necessary, for example with eye drops or in some cases with medication. Because chronic cat flu can be contagious for healthy cats, Nando cannot be rehomed with healthy cats. However, living together with other affected cats is possible. It would be best, of course, if Nando found a home together with Sunfyre, but that is not a must. For Nando we are looking for a loving home suitable for apartment living, with people who appreciate her open, curious nature and also responsibly handle her health condition.

Unsere Nando trägt einen Namen, der viele zunächst an einen Kater denken lässt – tatsächlich ist sie aber eine Katze. Ihre Geschichte ist eng mit der von Sunfyre verbunden: Nando wurde als kleines Findelkind entdeckt und von der Katzenmama Granda gemeinsam mit ihren eigenen Babys großgezogen, eines davon war Sunfyre. Die beiden sind nur wenige Wochen auseinander und haben ihre gesamte Kindheit miteinander verbracht. Nando ist eine offene, neugierige und menschenbezogene Katze. Sie sucht aktiv den Kontakt zu ihren Bezugspersonen und interessiert sich sehr für alles, was um sie herum passiert. Spielen, entdecken und Aufmerksamkeit genießen gehören für sie einfach dazu. Wie Sunfyre hat auch Nando chronischen Katzenschnupfen. Im Alltag kommt sie damit gut zurecht, doch gelegentlich kann eine tierärztliche Behandlung notwendig werden, zum Beispiel mit Augensalbe oder in manchen Fällen mit Medikamenten. Ein Zusammenleben mit anderen betroffenen Katzen ist jedoch gut möglich. Am schönsten wäre es natürlich, wenn Nando gemeinsam mit Sunfyre ein Zuhause finden würde, das ist aber kein Muss. Für Nando suchen wir ein liebevolles Zuhause in Wohnungshaltung, bei Menschen, die ihre offene, neugierige Art zu schätzen wissen und auch mit ihrer gesundheitlichen Besonderheit verantwortungsvoll umgehen.
