Nelly comes from a huge seizure by authorities that took place on the day before the winter solstice at a repeat offender's and has been in the spotlight of associations since 2011. She was living in completely disgraceful and inappropriate conditions for her advanced age. Her hooves were in a pitiful state: too long and twisted, they curled up like "babouches". She was infested with lice and very thin. But Nelly is a fighter who has a strong desire to live. Despite her Shetland temperament, Nelly has a solid gold personality. She is very gentle with everyone but knows how to assert herself in a group without any aggression. Having been deprived of everything for a long time, she is very fond of food.

Nelly est issue d’une énorme saisie survenue à la veille du solstice d'hiver chez une récidiviste, et dans le collimateur des associations depuis 2011. Elle vivait dans des conditions totalement indignes et inadaptées à son âge avancé. Ses sabots étaient dans un état pitoyable : trop longs et tordus, ils remontaient en "babouches". Elle était infestée de poux et maigre. Mais Nelly est une battante qui a la rage de vivre. Malgré son caractère de Shetland, Nelly a une personnalité en or massif. Elle est très douce avec tout le monde mais elle sait s'affirmer dans un groupe sans jamais aucune agressivité. Privée de tout pendant longtemps, elle est très gourmande.
