Nicole is a 2-year-old dog of the American Staffordshire Terrier type who ended up at our shelter due to her owner’s inability to continue providing care. She’s a friendly, sociable, and highly interactive dog who loves spending time with people. As befits a dog of this breed, she’s energetic, brave, and deeply attached to her guardian. The future home should be aware of the needs of dogs of the American Staffordshire Terrier type. Nicole will thrive best with active, consistent owners who are ready to provide her with an adequate amount of exercise, continue working on obedience training, and ensure proper socialization. We’re looking for responsible guardians who either understand the specific characteristics of this breed or are willing to learn about them and work consciously with the dog.
