Olimpo is 2 years old and is the typical watchful dog that ends up in a farm, supposedly to guard four rusty iron bars and some pallets. Dogs condemned to live in isolation, suffering, and without veterinary attention. When he escaped from that hell, nobody looked for him. He appeared wandering by the road. The police alerted the volunteers from ALBA, who started working with him by establishing a routine for food because he wouldn't let them touch him. After many attempts and a lot of patience, they managed to capture him. He arrived with his skin in poor condition, but we are bringing him up to date. As soon as he realized that people didn't want to hurt him, he showed his true character: Olimpo is a sweetheart with people. Super affectionate, loving, sociable, friendly, and grateful. He is truly charming and enjoys contact and company immensely. He has no problem with handling, harnesses, collars, or leashes. We don't know if he has used them before, but he walks very well, as if he has always known how to do it. As is often the case with this type of dog, he has a hard time being confined. He needs to go out, move around, and, above all, have company. He is not a dog for living in isolation on a farm; he is a dog for sharing life. With other dogs, we are still evaluating his relationship, as he is somewhat disoriented and stressed by everything he has lived through, but with people, we can already say that he is an authentic love. Olimpo tiene 2 años y es el típico perro vigilante que acaban metiendo en una finca para, supuestamente, guardar cuatro hierros oxidados y unos palets. Perros condenados a vivir aislados, pasando penurias y sin atención veterinaria. Cuando se escapó de ese infierno, nadie lo buscó. Apareció vagando por la carretera. La policía avisó a los voluntarios de ALBA, que empezaron a trabajar con él haciéndole una rutina de comida porque no se dejaba coger. Después de muchos intentos y mucha paciencia, consiguieron capturarlo. Llegó con la piel en mal estado, pero le estamos poniendo al día. En cuanto ha comprobado que las personas no quieren hacerle daño, ha mostrado su verdadero carácter: Olimpo es un bombón con la gente. Súper mimoso, cariñoso, sociable, simpático y agradecido. Es realmente encantador y disfruta muchísimo del contacto y la compañía. No tiene ningún problema con la manipulación, ni con el arnés, collar o correa. No sabemos si los ha usado antes, pero pasea muy bien, como si supiera hacerlo de siempre. Como suele ocurrir con este tipo de perros, lo pasa mal encerrado. Necesita salir, moverse y, sobre todo, compañía. No es un perro para vivir aislado en una finca; es un perro para compartir vida. Con otros perros todavía estamos valorando su relación, ya que está algo desubicado y estresado por todo lo que ha vivido, pero con personas ya podemos decir que es un auténtico amor.
