Before arriving at the shelter, I spent three long years tied up, knowing nothing of the outside world. No discoveries, no landmarks, no real life as a dog. Even today, this past follows me and explains why I am afraid of many things and why I have trouble trusting strangers. Everything is new for me, everything can be overwhelming. I need a calm, stable home where things don't move too fast. The more stable the environment, the more I can relax. But once trust is established, I become a real cuddlebug. I deeply attach myself to my human and love being near him, sharing daily moments, feeling his reassuring presence. This bond is precious to me, it represents everything I didn't know before.

Avant d’arriver au refuge, j’ai passé trois longues années à l’attache, sans rien connaître du monde extérieur. Pas de découvertes, pas de repères, pas de vraie vie de chien. Aujourd’hui encore, ce passé me suit et explique pourquoi j’ai peur de beaucoup de choses et pourquoi j’ai du mal à accorder ma confiance aux inconnus. Tout est nouveau pour moi, tout peut être impressionnant. J’ai besoin d’un foyer calme, posé, où les choses ne vont pas trop vite. Plus le cadre sera stable, plus je pourrai m’apaiser. Mais une fois la confiance installée, je deviens un vrai pot de colle. Je m’attache profondément à mon humain et j’aime être près de lui, partager les moments du quotidien, sentir sa présence rassurante. Ce lien est précieux pour moi, il représente tout ce que je n’ai pas connu avant.
