Paprika arrived at our shelter in 2022 and has never left his box... The reason? Paprika is a dog who has never lived in a home and who has surely experienced neglect. He has difficulty managing his emotions and shows resource guarding behavior towards his belongings. Powerful, brutish, and dynamic, he will need adopters who are patient and respect his need for space. But behind this large dog, there is actually a sensitive dog, in need of interactions and very affectionate with his humans! To learn family life, he will need to live in a quiet environment, in a house with an obligatory outdoor access. Paprika is social with his PAPRIKA VAA and enjoys sharing walks with them. Due to his sensitivity, he cannot live with children. Paprika will need follow-up with a positive dog trainer to help him manage his overwhelming emotions and to understand him.

Paprika est arrivé au refuge en 2022, depuis il n'a jamais quitté son box... La raison ? Paprika est un chien qui n'a jamais vécu en foyer, et qui a très surement connu de la négligence. Il a du mal à gérer ses émotions et fait de la protection de ressources sur ses affaires. Puissant, brute et dynamique, il aura besoin d'adoptants patients et qui respectent son besoin d'espace. Mais derrière ce grand chien, se cache en réalité un chien sensible, en demande d'intéractions et très câlins avec ses humains ! Afin d’apprendre la vie de famille, il devra vivre dans un environnement calme, en maison avec un accès à l'extérieur obligatoire. Paprika est sociable avec ses congénères et apprécie partager des balades avec eux. Dû à sa sensibilité, il ne pourra pas vivre avec des enfants. Paprika aura besoin d'un suivi avec un éducateur canin dans le positif, afin de l'aider à gérer son trop plein d'émotions et à le comprendre.
