Piania is a black-and-white kitten with a very gentle and cautious nature. In the past, she was a free-roaming cat, so living close to humans is completely new for her. She’s currently in the process of getting used to human company, and although her progress is slow, she takes small steps forward every single day. Most of the time, she stays in her cozy little den, which gives her a sense of security. From there, she carefully observes her surroundings and watches closely what’s going on around her. She still keeps her distance from people and doesn’t yet tolerate being petted, so she needs an owner who will respect her pace and won’t put any pressure on her. However, Piania shows that she has a curious streak inside her. She loves playing with the fishing rod toy and happily enjoys treats, which help her associate positive experiences with human presence. It’s through these small moments that she’s gradually becoming more confident in exploring the world around her. She especially feels comfortable in the company of other cats. It’s with them that she opens up the most and draws a sense of security from them. Therefore, an ideal home for her would be one with another calm FIV-positive cat, who could help her settle into her new environment and boost her self-confidence. Piania is a carrier of the FIV virus. This virus weakens the immune system, so the kitten requires careful supervision and regular health monitoring. FIV does not pose a threat to humans or other animal species. The kitten can live as an only cat or with another FIV-positive cat; having a calm feline companion by her side could provide her with great support. We’re looking for a particularly patient and calm home for Piania—one that will accept her just as she is. She’s a cat who doesn’t need much—above all, she needs a sense of security, a predictable daily routine, and an owner willing to give her plenty of time. We believe that under the right conditions, she’ll gradually open up to the world and become more and more confident in enjoying life alongside humans. Piania to biało czarna koteczka o bardzo delikatnej i ostrożnej naturze. W przeszłości była kotką wolno żyjącą, dlatego życie blisko człowieka jest dla niej czymś zupełnie nowym. Obecnie jest w trakcie oswajania i choć postępy są niewielkie, to każdego dnia robi kolejne małe kroki naprzód. Większość czasu spędza w swojej budce, która daje jej poczucie bezpieczeństwa. Stamtąd uważnie obserwuje otoczenie i przygląda się temu, co dzieje się wokół. Nadal zachowuje dystans wobec ludzi i nie toleruje jeszcze głaskania, dlatego potrzebuje opiekuna, który zaakceptuje jej tempo i nie będzie wywierał na nią presji. Piania pokazuje jednak, że drzemie w niej ciekawość świata. Lubi zabawę wędką i chętnie korzysta ze smaczków, które pomagają budować pozytywne skojarzenia z obecnością człowieka. To właśnie dzięki takim drobnym momentom coraz odważniej poznaje otaczającą ją rzeczywistość. Szczególnie dobrze czuje się w towarzystwie innych kotów. Wirus ten osłabia odporność organizmu, dlatego kotka wymaga uważnej opieki oraz regularnego monitorowania stanu zdrowia. FIV nie stanowi zagrożenia dla ludzi ani innych gatunków zwierząt. Kotka może zamieszkać jako jedynaczka lub z innym kotem FIV+, choć obecność spokojnego kociego towarzysza mogłaby być dla niej dużym wsparciem.
