Pod could live with children aged 16+ and will require outdoor access. Pod is a lovely older chap who took a little while to settle in here at the shelter. Initially, he was quite a worried boy when he first arrived and wasn’t sure of his new surroundings. However, now that he’s been with us a little longer, he has begun being braver and will now accept strokes and treats from our staff, as well as having a little explore outside of his pen. He can still remain easily spooked and so he would be best suited to a calm and quiet home where he can feel safe and take himself to some cosy hiding places if he feels overwhelmed. Pod finds change and loud noises quite stressful and so would prefer a home with no young children. Pod is gradually revealing more and more of his sweet nature to us – he loves being brushed and enjoys catnip too. We have no doubt that once in the safety and security of his forever home, he will only continue to grow in confidence and reveal more and more of his true character to his family. We have limited background information on Pod’s previous life but we do know he has spent quite some time as a stray. This sweet little gent so deserves to finally know the love, warmth and stability of a forever home as he enters his golden years. We have no doubt that this next chapter of his life will be his greatest one yet, finally having a forever family.
