Behind the bars, she behaves like many of our little ones: she moves around, she barks, she gets excited. She presents herself poorly. She screams to the entire world that she exists, that she is there, that she just wants to be looked at differently. And we pass by. We think we see a dog that is too rough, too intense, too something. But no one sees that behind this somewhat messy shell, there is a huge heart that trembles. Because Polly, out of the cage, is no longer the same; it's a revelation. When trust settles in, slowly, step by step, she melts. Literally. She becomes a wave of love that submerges you without warning. Endless hugs. Her head resting against you as if she wants to enter your chest to check that your heart is beating well. Polly is incredibly sensitive. A delicate soul in a strong body.

Derrière les barreaux, elle fait comme beaucoup de nos loulous : elle s’agite, elle aboie, elle s’emballe. Elle se présente mal. Elle crie au monde entier qu’elle existe, qu’elle est là, qu’elle voudrait juste qu’on la regarde autrement. Et on passe. On croit voir une chienne trop brute, trop intense, trop quelque chose. Mais personne ne voit que derrière cette carapace un peu brouillonne, il y a un cœur immense qui tremble. Parce que Polly, hors du box, ce n’est plus la même, c’est une révélation. Quand la confiance s’installe, doucement, à petits pas, elle fond. Littéralement. Elle devient une vague d’amour qui vous submerge sans prévenir. Des câlins à n’en plus finir. Sa tête posée contre vous comme si elle voulait rentrer dans votre poitrine pour vérifier que votre cœur bat bien. Polly est d’une sensibilité bouleversante. Une âme délicate dans un corps de costaud.
