This is Prue, a wonderful medium-sized female dog. Her birth date is estimated to be around November 2024. She came to our shelter as a puppy, together with her mother and three siblings. The whole family was terrified — afraid of everything and everyone. But Prue and her mother (Paloma) have since learned that they are safe here and that no one will ever hurt them again. To win her trust, patience and plenty of tasty treats are needed, but if her future adopter is as persistent as we’ve been, they will gain a loyal companion for life. Her eyes tell her story: though her past was painful and her future uncertain, she still hopes that one day she will find her way home. Prue is ready to leave — vaccinated, chipped, sterilized, and waiting for her new life to begin.
