Den lille Riley er en dejlig herre, der leder efter et roligt og stille hjem, hvor han kan få kærlighed. Han var i starten meget bekymret, da han ankom til Battersea, men han fandt hurtigt venner med sine mennesker, nogle gange med hjælp fra en hotdog! Riley vil have glæde af at have adgang til en have, så han kan få mere selvtillid, da han var for nervøs til at forlade sin kennel for at gå tur. Siden han har fået mere selvtillid i sit miljø, har han vist sig at være villig til at gå en tur på stedet. Riley har mødt hunde, mens han har været i vores varetægt, og han kan hilse pænt og vil have glæde af ejere, der er engagerede i at opbygge hans selvtillid og træne ham i at huske kommandoer omkring hunde. Riley leder efter et hjem i et roligt område med ejere, der kan give ham lidt plads til at finde foden. Han kan potentielt leve med fornuftige teenagere og kan muligvis dele sit hjem med en anden rolig hund eller en kat. Han vil have brug for en del løbende grundlæggende træning for at holde ham mentalt og fysisk stimuleret, hvilket vil være meget sjovt, da han altid er ivrig efter at behage sine mennesker! Meet Riley, a lovable young Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross with an enormous heart and an even bigger personality. This affectionate youngster loves being around people and is happiest when he’s following his favourite person around, leaning in for cuddles or bouncing over to say hello with his signature happy enthusiasm. Riley is still very much a puppy at heart. He loves exploring the world, chasing bubbles, playing with soft toys and making everyone smile with his cheeky habit of “borrowing” socks and household treasures. He’s incredibly affectionate, eager to learn and has already shown what a gentle, friendly boy he is with everyone he meets. Riley would suit adopters with some experience of energetic young dogs who are excited to continue his training and help guide him through adolescence using positive, reward-based methods. In a new home we think Riley could happily live with a well-matched dog who enjoys playful interactions and can match his energetic play style. However due to his interest in chasing wildlife and cats, Riley is looking for a home without cats or small animals. Riley could live with teens who are confident around lively, bouncy dogs and who can enjoy his playful personality while helping him practise calm behaviours. A secure garden would be an added bonus, giving him space to burn off energy, continue his training and enjoy safe play with his family.
