These little sheep were the most pitiful we have encountered - their owner had cruelly abandoned them in the middle of winter. A good samaritan contacted us about their plight. Once given the all clear by Animal Health to move them they were brought to the sanctuary. We checked them over on arrival and found that they were both utterly emaciated. We called our vet who estimated that they only weighed about 5kg each when they should have been 10kg plus for their size. We carefully wormed and medicated them and they gradually made a fantastic recovery!They are extremely playful and often instigate a group game with our other sheep and they can be seen running back and forth in a very joyful manner. Even the older sheep like to join in!
