A STACY was surrendered to the our shelter by her tutors, who moved to a foreign country and decided not to take her along. She was abandoned together with another dog. People left two dogs behind to start a new life in another country. The STACY is very sweet, gentle, and people-oriented. She loves human company, comes when called, asks for cuddles, and walks well on a leash. She loves to go for walks and attaches easily to her humans, wanting to monopolize their attention. She seems to be accustomed to children and is very affectionate with them. The STACY lived with another dog and, at the shelter, shares the dog shelter with several males and females. However, she was returned from one adoption because she wanted to have her humans all to herself and did not get along well with the resident dog. Therefore, we feel she should be the only dog in her new family. She was also returned from a second adoption after only 24 hours because she was not very friendly to other dogs during walks in the city. In fact, many dogs react this way, but the adopter decided to return her shortly after a conflict with a neighbor's dog on the stairs. The STACY is not a difficult dog; she just had a lot of bad luck. She needs a home without other dogs and people with patience to educate her, if needed. She is extremely sweet and deserves a new chance. The STACY will be delivered vaccinated, dewormed, spayed, and microchipped. This animal needs to be the only pet in the home.

A Stacy foi entregue no abrigo pelos seus tutores, que se mudaram para o estrangeiro e decidiram não levá-la consigo. Foi abandonada juntamente com outro cão. As pessoas deixaram para trás dois cães para começarem uma nova vida noutro país. A Stacy é muito doce, meiga e orientada para as pessoas. Parece estar habituada a crianças, é muito carinhosa com elas. A Stacy vivia com outro cão e, no abrigo, partilha o canil com vários machos e fêmeas. No entanto, já foi devolvida de uma adoção porque queria ter os seus humanos só para ela e não se deu bem com o cão residente. Por isso, sentimos que deve ser filha única na nova família. Foi também devolvida de uma segunda adoção após apenas 24 horas, por se ter mostrado pouco amistosa com outros cães durante os passeios na cidade. Na verdade, muitos cães reagem assim, mas o adotante decidiu devolvê-la logo após um conflito com o cão de um vizinho nas escadas. A Stacy não é uma cadela difícil, apenas teve muito azar. Precisa de um lar sem outros cães e de pessoas com paciência para a educar, se necessário. É extremamente doce e merece uma nova oportunidade. A Stacy será entregue vacinada, desparasitada, esterilizada e com microchip.
