Tatiana is one year old (as of 02/2023) and a beautiful cream-colored Galgo. Probably the gentle and tender female dog was abandoned in October by a hunter and had to fend for herself, still almost a baby. In the deepest winter, the thin and sad girl caught the attention of the residents of a small village near Seville. A local woman began feeding the poor creature. They hoped that Tatiana would approach them and could be brought into the house - but the quick and clever female dog did not let herself be touched for weeks. However, two weeks ago, Tatiana apparently decided it was time to reorient herself and walked alone into the apartment of a neighbor. The animal lovers informed our partners from Arca Sevilla, and now Tatiana lives in the facility. There, Tatiana happily discovers that people can be kind. The large, elegant female dog really enjoys when someone has time for her and strokes and spoils her. But Tatiana is never pushy; she is quiet and patiently waits until one of the volunteers notices her and sits down with her in her preferred corner to spend a few nice minutes. Tatiana has no problems with the other dogs in the run, but she is not a mischievous pup always found in the biggest commotion. She prefers a more sophisticated approach, watching the others play wildly and enjoying when she can unleash her strength in a race without being knocked over or pushed by other cheerful teenagers. We are very sure that Tatiana would be almost invisible in an apartment. Most representatives of her breed move around the house with the confidence of a cat, elegantly, silently, and gracefully (and without the willingness of house cats to sometimes deliberately destroy things). Also, walking on a leash is not a challenge for most Galgos, and the relaxed, easygoing style of sighthounds often brings admiring glances from other dog owners. But Tatiana is a running dog, and we cannot say how her (often very pronounced in Galgos) hunting instinct is. Anyone wanting to adopt one of our running wonders should definitely be physically active and willing to deal with the peculiarities of sighthounds. Tatiana is only one year old, she impresses with her balanced and calm temperament, which however also has real humor and spirit, her stylish appearance, her elegance, but she wants to be the best friend of her own humans, who will accompany her for years. Tatiana is sitting on packed suitcases and is very excited to meet these special people soon!

Tatiana ist ein Jahr alt (Stand 02/2023) und eine wunderschöne cremefarbene Galga. Vermutlich wurde die zarte und zärtliche Hündin im Oktober von einem Jäger ausgesetzt und musste sich, noch fast ein Baby, allein durchschlagen. Im tiefsten Winter fiel das abgemagerte und traurige Mädchen den Bewohnern eines kleinen Dorfes in der Nähe von Sevilla auf. Eine Anwohnerin begann, das arme Wesen zu füttern. Man hoffte auch, dass Tatiana sich annähern würde, und man sie ins Haus holen könne – aber die flinke und clevere Hündin ließ sich über Wochen nicht berühren. Doch vor zwei Wochen beschloss Tatiana wohl, dass es Zeit ist, sich neu zu orientieren und spazierte ganz allein in die Wohnung eines Nachbarn. Erleichtert informierten die Tierfreunde unsere Partner von der Arca Sevilla, und jetzt wohnt Tatiana in der Einrichtung. Dort entdeckt Tatiana voller Freude, dass Menschen auch freundlich sein können. Die große, elegante Hündin schätzt es sehr, wenn jemand Zeit für sie hat und sie streichelt und verwöhnt. Aber Tatiana ist nie aufdringlich, sie ist still und wartet geduldig, bis einer der Freiwilligen sie wahrnimmt und sich mit ihr in ihre bevorzugte Ecke setzt, um ein paar schöne Minuten zu verbringen. Mit den anderen Hunden im Freilauf hat Tatiana keine Probleme, sie ist aber keine Ulknudel, die immer im größte Tohuwabohu zu finden ist. Sie mag es eher gediegen, schaut den anderen beim wilden Toben zu und freut sich, wenn sie ihre Kräfte beim Wettrennen entfalten kann, ohne von anderen fröhlichen Teenagern umgewalzt oder geschubst zu werden. Wir sind uns sehr sicher, dass Tatiana in der Wohnung so gut wie unsichtbar würde. Die meisten Vertreter ihrer Rasse bewegen sich zu Hause mit der Sicherheit einer Katze, hochelegant, lautlos und grazil (und ohne die Bereitschaft der Stubentiger, auch mal mutwillig etwas zu zerstören). Auch das Laufen an der Leine ist für den Großteil der Galgos keine Herausforderung und der entspannte, lockere Stil der Windhunde bringt auch ihren Besitzern oft einen bewundernden Blick anderer Hundehalter ein. Aber Tatiana ist ein Laufhund und wir können nicht sagen, wie es um ihren (bei Galgos oft sehr ausgeprägtem) Jagdinstinkt bestellt ist. Wer eines unserer Laufwunder adoptieren möchte, sollte in jedem Fall sportlich aktiv und auch gewillt sein, sich mit den Eigenheiten von Windhunden auseinanderzusetzen. Tatiana ist erst ein Jahr alt, sie begeistert durch ihr ausgeglichenes und ruhiges Wesen, das aber trotzdem wirklich Witz und Esprit hat, ihr schickes Aussehen, ihre Eleganz, aber sie möchte eben auch die beste Freundin ihrer eigenen Menschen werden, die sie über Jahre begleiten darf. Tatiana sitzt auf gepackten Köfferchen und freut sich sehr darauf, diese besonderen Menschen bald kennenzulernen!
