Mød Twiglet (Twigs for hans venner!). Vi reddede Twiglet sammen med vores samarbejdspartnere Arche Noah, da han var smittet med Felin Panleukopeniavirus, som er en type parvovirus, og der var også for mange ikke-vaccinerede killinger. Da sygdommen var yderst smitsom, satte vi ham i karantæne på vores badeværelse for at beskytte vores egne dyr. Emma måtte gå ind tre gange om dagen for at give ham et drop og hans medicin. Med en overlevelseschance på 3 % var han kold, stiv og ekstremt tynd, men han havde den mest fantastiske lille miauen og klarede sig igennem! Han er nu på listen over bloddonorer for at hjælpe andre katte med Felin Panleukopeniavirus. Som du kan se, lignede han en tid lang en Tim Burton-kat, men han er nu en sund kat, der altid er til stede ved måltiderne for at bede frivillige om lidt af deres mad!

Meet Twiglet (Twigs to his pals!) We rescued Twiglet alongside our affiliates Arche Noah as he had Feline Panleukopenia Virus, which is a type of Parvovirus and they had too many unvaccinated kittens. As he was highly contagious, we quarantined him in our bathroom to safeguard our own animals. Emma had to go in three times a day to administer a drip and his medicine. With a 3% chance of survival he was cold, stiff and extremely thin but he had the most amazing little meow and pulled through! He is now on a list of blood donors to help other cats with Feline Panleukopenia Virus. As you can see, he looked like a Tim Burton cat for for a while but he is a healthy cat now, always there at meal times to ask the volunteers for some of their food!
