Due to the ongoing proceedings, we are looking for a temporary home for him. Temperament: Wafel is a dog that looks like a terrier, characterized by curiosity about the world and a desire to explore. In the animal shelter, he is learning new behaviors and adapting to the environment. Wafel readily jumps onto laps when he feels safe, but at first needs a lot of time and patience to trust a new person. The dog was brought to the animal shelter through an intervention; previously, he lived in difficult conditions, sharing space with other animals. Currently, he is gradually learning about the world and how to function in a new environment. Wafel has recently started walking on a leash, which is a big step forward for him. The outside world is still unknown to him and can sometimes scare him, but in stressful situations, he seeks support from a person he knows. We are looking for a temporary home for Wafek, where he will be able to feel safe and gradually open up to new experiences. An ideal caregiver is a calm, patient, and understanding person, ready to support the dog in his development. Prepare for a large number of meetings, as Wafelek needs a lot of time to get used to new people.
