Zepp – A playful, affectionate boy looking for a fresh start Zepp is a handsome 2½-year-old black domestic short-haired boy who is looking for a loving new home through a direct home-to-home adoption from the BL1 area of Bolton. Zepp is neutered, up to date with vaccinations and is microchipped. Sadly, due to a change in his family’s circumstances and increasing tension with the other cat in the home, Zepp is no longer happy where he is. His family have made the difficult decision to find him a home where he can truly thrive. Zepp is a friendly and affectionate cat who enjoys spending time with his people. In fact, he’d much rather curl up with his family’s young daughter than the adults! He has grown up alongside a toddler and has always been gentle and comfortable around children. He has also lived with a large dog and isn’t fazed by canine company. One of Zepp’s favourite things is being outdoors. He’s an adventurous boy who loves to explore and is a talented hunter, so he will need a home with safe outdoor access once he has settled in. Because of Zepp’s hunting instincts, his owners ensure he wears a collar with a bell when outside. When he’s back indoors, Zepp enjoys playing with toys, loves his scratching post and will even play a game of fetch. He’s been fed a dry-food diet since being rescued and enjoys the occasional tasty morsel that accidentally finds its way onto the kitchen floor! He currently uses crystal litter, although he much prefers to spend his time outside. Although Zepp has lived with another cat, the relationship has sadly broken down over the last few months and he has become increasingly unhappy, even beginning to spray indoors. For this reason, we feel he would be happiest as the only cat in his new home, where he can have all the attention to himself without the stress of sharing his space. Zepp may be a little timid when he first arrives in a new environment, but with a little patience and reassurance, he soon comes out of his shell and forms lovely bonds with his family. If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion who enjoys cuddles, adventures and plenty of outdoor time, Zepp could be the perfect addition to your family.
