Date of birth: 15/11/2019 (6 and a half years old) In shelter since: 31/08/2020 Size: Medium (Sturdy and strong) Temperament profile: Achilles is a dog with great sensitivity and remarkable communication skills. He’s not a dog for everyone: he’s initially wary and needs time to bond with people. He doesn’t appreciate direct handling or sudden physical contact; he prefers eye contact and clear, straightforward communication. He avoids conflicts with other dogs, often choosing to distance himself instead. He displays strong possessiveness toward resources (food). Adoption requirements: A period of getting to know him at the shelter is required. The ideal adopter should have previous experience with dogs of strong character, be able to recognize signs of discomfort, and respect the dog’s pace without forcing anything.
