22-10-26 Apricot is an inquisitive little girl who has come into our care from a breeder in search of a new start. She was brave enough to jump up for a fuss when we first met her. She quickly warms up to people and is easy to handle, happily allowing herself to be picked up and enjoying all the attention on offer. Apricot is a super-cute, bright little girl who is full of curiosity, and we think she will blossom as her confidence grows. Apricot gets on wonderfully with other dogs and would be happy to share her home with canine companions. However, she is confident enough that she could also be happy as the only dog in the right home, provided her adopters are around for much of the day to keep her company and help her settle into family life. As Apricot has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn all about house training, lead training and the other basics of home life. She will need adopters with previous dog ownership experience who can patiently help her learn the skills she should have been taught from a young age. She can live with dog-savvy kids who are sensible. With a little time, patience and lots of love, Apricot has so much potential to become a wonderful companion and bring plenty of fun and affection to her new family. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
