For the past three months, we’ve been caring for a Boxer named Beta. Her owners left her behind in the apartment and departed. The dog also had a large lesion on her gums that was bleeding heavily—this condition had not been diagnosed before. The walls of the apartment, up to a meter high, were covered in the dog’s blood. After the dog was taken from the abandoned apartment with police assistance, Beta underwent surgery to remove the sizable lesion from her oral cavity. Unfortunately, despite having a good appetite, she has lost weight. Further examinations revealed a foreign object in her stomach—a metal capsule from a bottle—that had apparently been lodged there for quite some time. Another procedure was performed in Wrocław, where the capsule was successfully removed. Beta is 10 years old, full of energy, and cheerful. She loves people, cuddles with staff members, and follows us around everywhere. She shows varying attitudes toward other dogs; we’re not sure how she’d fare with cats. We’re looking for a new, responsible home for Beta. Od 3 miesięcy jest z nami bokserka Beta. Właściciele pozostawili ją w mieszkaniu i wyjechali. Pies dodatkowo miał dużą zmianę na dziąśle, która mocno krwawiła - nie była wcześniej diagnozowana. Całe ściany w mieszkaniu, do wysokości metra były ubrudzone krwią psa. Po zabraniu psa w asyście policji z opuszczonego mieszkania, Beta przeszła zabieg usunięcia sporej zmiany w jamie ustnej.
