Meet Carly!! This beautiful girl is looking for an experienced, active and understanding home where she can continue to build her confidence. When Carly first arrived, she was very timid and nervous, and she can still be unsure when meeting new people. With time, patience and gentle encouragement, she has slowly started to come out of her shell and show us her wonderful personality. Once Carly knows and trusts you, a completely different side of her appears! She becomes playful, giddy and full of fun. She absolutely loves her treats and toys, and one of her favourite things is having a good case of the Zoomies around our compound! Carly already knows her basic commands and is keen to engage, especially when there are tasty treats involved. She can be strong on the lead, so her new owner will need to be confident handling her and willing to continue working on her lead manners and training. Because Carly can be nervous around unfamiliar people, she may sometimes bark when meeting someone new. She will need adopters who understand nervous dogs and won’t rush her, allowing her to build relationships at her own pace. We are looking for an experienced, active, adult-only home for Carly. A quieter, patient environment with people who can give her the time, consistency and reassurance she needs. Carly has already made fantastic progress, and underneath that initially worried exterior is a fun-loving, playful young dog just waiting to shine. She will need a private secure garden. Carly has socialised well with other dogs and is very playful. We feel she could potentially live with another dog of similar size and energy levels following a successful meet and greet (must be neutered). If you have a holiday booked in the next 3 months please wait until you return to apply for a dog.
