💙 Meet Chester – the playful sweetheart looking for someone who understands him. 💙 Handsome Chester is a 2-year-old neutered male who came into the care of RSPCA Bluebell Ridge as one of eight cats rescued from a multi-cat household. Despite everything he’s been through, Chester hasn’t lost his love for people. He absolutely adores a fuss, has a playful streak that keeps us smiling, and is sure to become a wonderful companion for the lucky person who takes him home. Like many cats from busy environments, Chester can be a little unsure about being handled. He much prefers to be the one who decides when it’s cuddle time, and he’s looking for a family who will let him take the lead. Give him the space to come to you, and he’ll reward you with plenty of affection on his own terms. Chester is also wonderfully cat-friendly and has been having the best time playing through the bars with his neighbouring feline friends. He could happily share his new home with another friendly cat following careful introductions. This lovely boy also has asthma, so he’ll need a calm, low-stress home. At the moment, his condition is well managed with a low dose of steroids, but in the future he’d benefit from adopters who are willing to patiently help him become comfortable using an inhaler. With kindness, patience and positive reinforcement, we’re confident he’ll take it all in his stride. Chester would be happiest in an adult-only home, or one with older sensible teenagers aged 15 years and over, where he can settle in at his own pace and build trusting relationships. He’s funny, affectionate, playful and full of potential. All Chester needs now is someone who’ll see past his worries and give him the loving home he’s been waiting for.
