Brutally taken by dog catchers and mistreated at the Veterinary Station, Chico came to us terrified and injured - with a severe eye wound that ultimately led to the removal of his eye. We don't know what caused the injury, but we do know the suffering he endured was unimaginable. Despite everything, this beautiful boy survived. Chico is now recovering safely with us, and his wound is healing well. He is slowly learning to trust again and deserves a gentle, loving home where he can continue to heal at his own pace. Chico is shy and will need time to adapt - but with patience, kindness, and love, he will blossom. He has so much potential to become a loyal and affectionate companion.
