Cumberland – East Yorkshire, Driffield Adoption fee is £450 1 years Black and tan Dapple Smooth Standard (8kg) Not neutered Cumberland is a sweet dachshund looking for a loving new home where he can be happy, settled, and part of a family. He is a lovely, affectionate boy with a sweet nature and plenty of love to give. Unfortunately, he has experienced some tensions with another male dog in his current home, and finding him a home where he can have a calmer environment of his own would be the best option for everyone. Overall, Cumberland is a sweet, healthy, and loving dog who deserves a patient, understanding home that will give him the care, stability and affection he needs. Cumberland is house-trained and travels well in the car. He could also live with sensible, dog-savvy children aged 10 years and over who can understand and respect his needs. His new family should be prepared to continue building his socialisation and understand that he is still adjusting to having visitors, deliveries and general household activity. He can stay at home alone for up to four hours once he has been gradually introduced to being alone. With patience, reassurance and love, Cumberland will continue to thrive and be an excellent loyal companion to his new family.
