Say hello to Dolores! Dolores is a 4 year old, 8.2hh, bay, Shetland, mare who is ready to find her home as a non-ridden companion. Dolores is looking for a patient and knowledgeable home where she can continue her education. She would benefit from living with compatible field companions and a fosterer who understands her strong character. Dolores will need time to settle into her new home and build a trusting bond with her fosterer, but with patience and understanding, she is sure to thrive. Dolores is a dominant mare, especially around feed, she has a big personality and is full of confidence. Stabling/Shelter Companionship Forage & Feed Feet & Teeth Vices Vet & Medication Stabling/Shelter: Dolores is currently living out 24/7 with access to a field shelter, she will happily stay in the field with others in sight, she becomes unsettled in the stable if left on her own she settles better with a friend in the stable. Companionship: Dolores is currently living with a group of young mares, Dolores is a more dominant mare in the herd. Forage/Feed: Dolores is currently on grazing 24/7 and has 225g stud lite balancer. Medication: N/A Farrier: Good for the farrier, barefoot and trimmed every 6-8weeks. Dentist: Sedated as standard Bransby Horses procedure, 6monthly dentals. Vices: N/A Vet: Dolores can be nervous of needles but is otherwise good for the vet.
