Ajoimme tietä pitkin, kun näimme suuren paimenkoiratyypin koiran, joten pysähdyimme ruokkimaan sitä. Kun lähestyimme, se tuli luoksemme häntä heiluttaen, perässään pentueen verran koiranpennuja. Paikalliset kertoivat meille, että sen oli hylätty pennuineen ja että ihmiset olivat ruokkineet sitä. Doris oli yksi niistä pennuista. Se on niin ystävällinen ja rakastaa ihmisiään. Doris on edelleen tarhassa tänään ja sitä kutsutaan hellästi Draamakuningattareksi.

We were driving along the road when we saw a large shepherd type dog so stopped to feed her. As we approached she came to us wagging her tail, followed by a litter of puppies. Locals told us she had been dumped with her pups and that they had been feeding her. Doris was one of those pups. She is so friendly and loves her people. Doris is still at the shelter today and is affectionately known as the Drama Queen.
