Doug ja Duffy tulivat hoitoon omistajansa olosuhteiden muutoksen vuoksi. Ne ovat erittäin ystävällisiä ja ovat tehneet tuttavuutta kaikkien kanssa, joita he ovat keskuksessa tavanneet. Ne nauttivat kävelylenkeistään ja tykkäävät köllötellä yhdessä päiväunille sen jälkeen. Niin paljon kuin ne rakastavat toisiaan, ne eivät innostu jakamasta ruokaa, joten niiden on pidettävä erillään ruokintahetkissä. Ne ovat ulkoilleet keskuksessa muiden koirien kanssa; Duffy voi olla aluksi äänekäs, kunnes sillä on tilaisuus tervehtiä. Molemmilla on ikään liittyviä terveysongelmia, jotka hoidetaan hyvin kipulääkkeillä, ja näiden käyttö jatkuu jatkossakin. Tämä ihana pari tulee olemaan uuteen kotiinsa loistava lisäys. Doug ja Duffy ovat ihastuttava kaksikko, joka etsii yhdessä uutta kotia. Ne ovat asuneet aiemmin kissojen kanssa ja voisivat päätyä kodin, jossa on koiraystävällinen kissa. Doug & Duffy came into our care due to a change in their owner's circumstances. They are very friendly and have made friends with everyone they have met at the centre. They enjoy their walks and like snuggling up together for a nap afterwards. As much as the love each other, they are not keen on sharing food so will need to be kept seperate at feeding times. They have walked with other dogs at the centre, Duffy can be vocal initially until she has the opportunity to say hello. Both have age related medical which is well managed with pain relief which will need to be ongoing. This lovely pair will make a wonderful addition to their new home. Doug & Duffy are a delightful duo looking for a new home together. At 10yrs young they still have a zest for life and enjoy their walks and love spending time with people. They would like to be the only dogs in their new home but could have doggy friends out on walks. They have lived with cats previously and could join a home with a dog savvy cat. They have previously lived with children and could join a home with children of Primary School age and older. They would enjoy having their own outside space. Once settled they could be left for short periods of time.
