Gero is a dainty Malinois – boy, 6 years old, who did not have the best start with his previous owner – inexplicably – for a breed, he learns and understands very quickly. He knows the basic commands, he walks nicely on a leash, and the male dog also enjoys car rides. When he meets new people who show him kindness, he warms up quickly and is not at all averse to a game or a bring. Gero wants to build more connection and it’s clear that he wants to join and please the people who show him attention. Anyone who works with him, cares for him, brings patience and calm will win a loyal companion. Gero ist ein zierlicher Mallinois – Bube mit 6 Jahren, welcher mit seinem Vorbesitzer nicht das große Los gezogen hatte – unverständlicherweise – denn rassetypisch begreift und lernt er sehr schnell. Die Grundkommandos kennt er, an der Leine läuft er schön und auch mit dem Auto fährt der Rüde gerne mit. Lernt er neue Menschen kennen, welche ihm Sympathie entgegenbringen, taut er schnell auf und ist alsbald einem Such- oder Bringspiel nicht abgeneigt. Gero möchte dann gerne mehr Bezug aufbauen und man merkt sichtlich, dass er sich ihm zugewandten Menschen anschließen und ihnen gefallen will. Wer mit ihm arbeitet, sich kümmert, Geduld und Ruhe mitbringt, wird einen treuen Gefährten gewinnen. Bei Begegnungen mit Artgenossen bleibt der Rüde gelassen, in einen Zwinger will er keinesfalls!
