We first met Hazel at the public shelter in Lagos, where she immediately came forward to greet us. Friendly and a little submissive, she seemed to be asking for reassurance and a helping hand. We took her straight to our private sanctuary, where she is now beginning her preparations for travelling to the UK. Hazel is a lovely four-month-old stunning brindle girl, who we estimate will grow to around Labrador size, when fully grown.Hazel is great around other dogs & loves people & children. She has even passed her cat test, but every cat is different so recommend supervised interactions. Still just a puppy, she has plenty of growing and learning ahead of her. We’re looking for a loving home that will give her the time, patience and gentle guidance she needs as she discovers the world. Could you be the family to help Hazel take her next steps? ❤️ Most of our dogs have been found abandoned as young pups, discarded as unwanted litters, as is often the case in Portugal where neutering is not as common as in the UK.
