There are dogs that, from the very first moment, jump right onto a person’s lap. And then there are those that first need to believe they can trust someone again. Ibis belongs precisely to the latter group. He ended up at the shelter because of his owner’s serious illness. He’s a gentle, sensitive dog for whom the sudden upheaval of his entire world was an extremely difficult experience. Ibis needs time, patience, and a calm approach. His initial encounters may be filled with uncertainty, but once he gets to know a person and trusts them, he reveals his true self. He becomes a tender and devoted companion who happily spends time by his caregiver’s side. He’s a real neat freak who understands the household rules and knows how to keep things tidy. He gets along well with other dogs, and with proper introduction, he might even have the chance to live with a cat.

Są psy, które od pierwszej chwili wskakują człowiekowi na kolana. I są takie, które najpierw muszą uwierzyć, że znów mogą komuś zaufać. Ibis należy właśnie do tej drugiej grupy. Do schroniska trafił z powodu ciężkiej choroby swojego właściciela. To delikatny, wrażliwy pies, dla którego zmiana całego świata była bardzo trudnym doświadczeniem. Ibis potrzebuje czasu, cierpliwości i spokojnego podejścia. Pierwsze spotkania mogą być pełne niepewności, ale gdy już pozna człowieka i obdarzy go zaufaniem, pokazuje swoje prawdziwe oblicze. Staje się czułym i oddanym towarzyszem, który chętnie spędza czas u boku opiekuna. To prawdziwy czyścioszek, który zna zasady panujące w domu i potrafi zachować czystość. Dobrze dogaduje się z innymi psami, a przy odpowiednim zapoznaniu ma również szansę zamieszkać z kotem.
