Jimmy 04/2025 | Male Hi, I’m Jimmy! My beautiful wirehaired coat suggests that there’s a hunting dog inside me—and that’s exactly how I feel too. I’m attentive, curious, and full of energy. I love being outdoors, discovering new things, and experiencing adventures together with my people. However, I do come with a little challenge: Strong external stimuli—such as wildlife, other animals, or exciting movements (cars, bicycles, etc.)—can still quickly throw me off balance. When that happens, it’s hard for me to calm down again, and I tend to get more and more worked up about the situation. That’s precisely what I’m currently working on together with the training team at Schlatthof, and we’re already seeing initial progress. That’s why I’m looking for people who are ready to continue this journey with me. Training will be an important part of our daily life together, and I’d love to find people who enjoy working with me and treat me consistently yet fairly. It would also be very helpful if you could be accompanied by our training team along the way. Jimmy 04/2025 | männlich Hey, ich bin Jimmy! Mein schönes Drahthaar lässt vermuten, dass in mir ein Jagdhund steckt und genau so fühle ich mich auch. Ich bin aufmerksam, neugierig und voller Energie. Am liebsten bin ich draußen, entdecke Neues und möchte gemeinsam mit meinen Menschen etwas erleben. Allerdings bringe ich auch eine Baustelle mit. Starke Außenreize, wie Wild, andere Tiere oder spannende Bewegungen (Autos, Fahrräder, etc), bringen mich im Moment noch schnell aus der Fassung. Dann fällt es mir schwer, wieder zur Ruhe zu kommen und ich steigere mich in die Situation hinein. Genau daran arbeite ich derzeit gemeinsam mit dem Trainerteam auf dem Schlatthof und wir sehen bereits erste Fortschritte. Ich suche deshalb Menschen, die bereit sind, diesen Weg mit mir weiterzugehen. Training wird ein wichtiger Bestandteil unseres gemeinsamen Alltags sein und ich wünsche mir Menschen, die Freude daran haben, mit mir zu arbeiten und konsequent, aber fair mit mir umgehen. Eine weitere Begleitung durch unser Trainerteam wäre dabei sehr sinnvoll.
