Description: JOHN, THE ANNOYING CAT. John has lived many years in the common areas of an urbanization, was neutered, and led a quiet life, cared for by some of the neighbors who took pity on him. As often happens in this type of urbanization, not all neighbors agreed that John should live there, be fed, and receive some minimal care to allow him to survive. They began to campaign against the cat and its caregivers, collecting signatures to force his removal, and were willing to let him go anywhere to avoid seeing him. His mere presence bothered them, and John's life began to be in danger. Under such circumstances, they asked for our help to prevent something bad from happening to the cat. Despite not being the ideal place to house a feral cat, he was allowed in to prevent greater harm. John is an unaligned, mistrustful, and fearful cat who lives hidden all the time, fleeing from the volunteers. In short, John is not happy, as the adaptation of a cat like him in a closed facility is often impossible and difficult, both for him and the volunteers who see that they cannot help with his socialization. The only thing we can say is that we will try, that we will strive to give him the best possible life, and that we will not give up in our effort to give him the peace and tranquility that he once had.

Descripción JOHN, EL GATO MOLESTO. John ha vivido muchos años en los espacios comunes de una urbanización, fue esterilizado y llevaba una vida tranquila, cuidado por alguno de los vecinos que se apiadaban de él. Como ocurre tantas veces en este tipo de urbanizaciones, no todos los vecinos estaban de acuerdo en que John viviera allí, en que se le alimentará y se le diera unos mínimos cuidados que le permitieran sobrevivir. Empezaron a hacer campaña en contra del gato y sus cuidadores, a recoger firmas para obligar a deshacerse del gato, y con tal de no verlo les daba igual a donde fuera. Su sola presencia les molestaba y la vida de John empezó a correr peligro. Ante tales circunstancias, nos pidieron ayuda para evitar que algo malo le pasara al gato y a pesar de no ser el sitio ideal donde meter aun gato feral se le dio entrada para evitar daños mayores. John es un gato desubicado, desconfiado y miedoso, que vive escondido todo el tiempo, huyendo de los voluntarios. En resumidas cuentas, John no es feliz, pues la adaptación de un gato como él en un recinto cerrado muchas veces es imposible, y dura, tanto para él como para los voluntarios, que ven como no le pueden ayudar en su socialización. Lo único que podemos decir es que lo intentaremos, que trataremos de darle la mejor vida posible, que no cejaremos en el empeño de darle la paz y tranquilidad que algún día tuvo.
