Hi… um… hello. My name is Keith. I’m a young gentleman (very handsome, if I do say so myself) with soft fur and thoughtful eyes, and a heart that’s just waiting to feel safe. I can be a little shy when we first meet. New places and new people make me tuck my whiskers in a bit. But if you give me time… oh, just you wait. Once I know I’m safe, I turn into a professional headbutter. Truly. I give the best headbuts, the full forehead, eyes closed, “you’re my person now” kind. It’s my special way of saying I love you. I’m a very sweet boy, I just need a little patience while I figure things out. I’m looking for a calm home where people understand that I might need some time and space to adjust to my new life. If you let me go at my own pace and give me lots of gentle encouragement, I promise it will be worth it. Watching a shy boy blossom is a pretty magical thing. I’ve lived with other cats before and could do so again with the right introductions. As for dogs, I’m not quite sure how I feel, but with slow, careful introductions, I might be able to share my kingdom. I could also live with children, as long as they understand that I sometimes need quiet time and a safe spot to retreat to. Once I’m settled and feeling confident, I’d love to have some safe outdoor access to potter around, explore, and patrol my garden like the brave little adventurer I am inside.
