Krecik—will he ever get to know what a real home is? He’s about 14 years old and came to our shelter in 2013... For thirteen years, the world kept moving forward, while for Krecik, time seemed to stand still behind the shelter’s fence. Despite such an enormous wealth of experience, this little, wonderful old man still exudes immense warmth and trust. Krecik is loyal and devoted. He loves his caregivers deeply. Once he gets to know someone and grows fond of them, he becomes the sweetest, most grateful creature under the sun. It’s only this year that Krecik started going on regular walks—and he absolutely fell in love with them! Although age is taking its toll and he no longer needs multi-kilometer-long adventures, walks with him are peaceful, and when Krecik decides it’s time to rest, he politely shows us it’s time to head back to his safe little corner. He’s a completely conflict-free dog. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would happily live in a home with another calm, gentle four-legged companion. We don’t know his direct reaction to cats yet; given his exceptionally gentle and well-balanced nature, there’s a very good chance he’d accept feline company without any problems. For Krecik, we’re looking for a calm home filled with empathy and love. Ideally, it would be an apartment on the ground floor or a house with a garden (without having to climb many stairs). Most importantly, what this senior gentleman needs right now is a soft bed, a full food bowl, and someone who’ll gently stroke his gray muzzle. We can’t turn back time, but we can make sure that Krecik’s autumn years become the most beautiful period of his entire life. Help us write a happy ending for him! He’s neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Krecik - czy zdąży poznać, czym jest prawdziwy dom? Ma około 14 lat, a do naszego schroniska trafił w 2013 roku... Przez trzynaście lat świat szedł do przodu, a dla Krecika czas płynął za schroniskowym ogrodzeniem. Mimo tak ogromnego bagażu doświadczeń, ten mały, cudowny dziadziuś wciąż ma w sobie ogromne pokłady ciepła i zaufania. Krecik jest wierny i oddany. Bardzo kocha swoich opiekunów. Gdy kogoś pozna i polubi, staje się najmilszym, najbardziej wdzięcznym stworzeniem pod słońcem. Dopiero od tego roku Krecik zaczął wychodzić na regularne spacery i... absolutnie je pokochał! Choć wiek robi swoje i nie potrzebuje już wielokilometrowych wypraw. Spacery z nim są spokojne, a gdy Krecik uzna, że pora odpocząć, sam grzecznie pokazuje, że czas wracać do swojego bezpiecznego kącika. To pies całkowicie bezkonfliktowy. Rewelacyjnie dogaduje się z innymi psami i chętnie zamieszka w domu z innym, spokojnym czworonogiem. Nie znamy jego bezpośredniej reakcji na koty, biorąc pod uwagę jego niezwykle łagodny, zrównoważony charakter, istnieje ogromna szansa, że bez problemu zaakceptuje kocie towarzystwo. Dla Krecika szukamy domu spokojnego, pełnego empatii i miłości. Idealne byłoby mieszkanie na parterze lub dom z ogrodem (bez konieczności pokonywania wielu schodów). Najważniejsze, czego ten starszy pan teraz potrzebuje, to miękkie legowisko, pełna miska i człowiek, który pogłaszcze go po siwym pyszczku. Czasu nie cofniemy, ale możemy sprawić, by jesień życia Krecika była najpiękniejszym okresem w jego całym życiu. Pomóż nam napisać dla niego szczęśliwe zakończenie! Jest wykastrowany, odrobaczony, zaszczepiony i zaczipowany.
