Marie is from Viimsi and belongs to a three-member cat family. Along with his mother Marja and sister Maria, he barely managed to avoid going to the animal shelter and ended up in my care. Very soon I noticed that the health of the 3-4 month old kittens was not right and I sent them quickly to the clinic for examination, where they were kept for some time for treatment and monitoring. They were suffering from a urinary tract infection and anemia. Fortunately, both recovered and the young cats have now grown out of their condition. Actually, Maria and Marie are so similar that I constantly mix them up. Of course, one tip is how to tell them apart. Maria loves "talking," Marie does not. Also! Marie was calmer as a kitten, there was some meowing, but less. In the cat room, Mariele likes to spend time with other kittens and play with them. She watches and discovers things from a distance. If I offer a treat or food, she comes confidently closer with the others. Sometimes it works for her too. Recently Marie also learned to distinguish the running wheel, and now they do it regularly. Unfortunately, it is not possible in a large cat group to give each kitten as much individual attention as it needs. Development happens much faster in its own home with its own people, where it doesn't have to compete with dozens of other cats for attention. Marie on pärit Viimsist ning kuulub kolmeliikmeline kassipere hulka. Koos oma ema Maarja ning õe Mariaga pääses ta viimasel hetkel varjupaika minemisest ning jõudis minu juurde hoiukoju. Üsna varsti märkasin, et 3 – 4 kuu vanuste pojakeste tervisega on midagi valesti ning saatsin nad kiiresti kliinikusse kontrolli, kuhu nad jäeti mõneks ajaks ravile ja jälgimisele. Neid vaevas sooltepõletik ja aneemia. Õnneks paranesid mõlemad ning plikatirtsudest on tänaseks sirgunud noored kassineiud. Tegelikult on Maria ja Marie nii sarnased, et ma ajan neid pidevalt segamini. Üks nipp muidugi on, kuidas neil vahet teha. Maria armastab „rääkida“, Marie seda ei tee. Veel! Marie oli väiksena rahulikum, susinat küll oli, aga vähem. Kassitoas meeldib Mariele rohkem teiste kiisude seltsis aega veeta ja kaissu pugeda. Inimese tegemisi vaatab ja uudistab pigem eemalt. Kui maiust või süüa pakun, tuleb julgelt koos teistega lähemale. Vahel õnnestub nii talle paigi teha. Hiljuti õppis ka Marie jooksurattal lippamise selgeks, nüüd teevad nad seda õega kordamööda. Paraku ei ole suures kassiseltskonnas võimalik igale kiisule pakkuda nii palju individuaalset tähelepanu kui ta vajaks. Areng toimub palju kiiremini omas kodus omade inimestega, kus ei pea tähelepanu pärast mitmekümne teise kassiga võistlema.
