Marvel tulee paikallisesta hyllystä, jossa hänen oli elämässään erittäin huonoissa oloissa. Hän oli suljettu sinne muiden 130 koiran kanssa eri rotuja, ikää ja kokoja. Taistelimme kuukausia tämän horjuvan hyllyn sulkemiseksi ja tuoimme kaikki ne turvallisesti meille, jotta heidän olisi saanut viimein hoitoa, lääkärinhoitoa, kasvattamista ja rakkautta ja ennen kaikkea liikuntaa (katso Uutiset marraskuu 2020). Kun kaikki koit olivat tulleet, päätimme tuoda Marvelin ja Ramon yhteen. Heistä tuli parhaat ystävät ja käyttivät koko ajan aikaa yhdessä. Marvel ja Ramon ovat suuria, vahvoja miehiä, joille etsimme kokeneita ihmisiä, joiden kotona ei ole lapsia. Ensimmäisissä kuukausissa oli vaikeaa työskennellä molempien kanssa, mitä meitä pidämme aiemman hyllyn huonoissa oloissa, mutta paljon työtä, aikaa ja rakkautta, jonka hoitajamme näyttivät heille, mahdollistivat sen, että molemmat pystyivät palauttamaan luottamuksensa ihmisiin. Olisimme hyvin iloisia löytää ymmärtävä ja pitkäntekoinen perhe jatkaa työtä Marvelin sosiaalisuuden kanssa.

Marvel comes from a local shelter where he had to live in very bad conditions. He was locked up there with other 130 dogs of different breeds, ages and sizes. We fought for months to close this horrible shelter and bring them all to us in safety so they could finally get the care, medical attention, nurturing and love and most importantly the exercise they needed (see News November 2020). After all the dogs arrived, we decided to bring Marvel and Ramon together. They became best friends and spend all their time together. Marvel and Ramon are big, strong males for whom we are looking for experienced people, in whose household there are no children. In the first months it was difficult to work with the two of them, which we attribute to the bad circumstances in the previous shelter, but after a lot of work, time and the love shown to them by our caretakers, the two of them were able to regain trust in us humans. We would be very happy to find an understanding and patient family to continue working with Marvel on socialization.
