Matilda on myyttinen olio. Puolet pienestä koirasta lyhyellä karulla, puolet ruskovalkeasta karhusta käpyillä hihoilla. Hän on yli 8-vuotias ja ei pidä paljoa ihmisistä – mutta hän rakastaa muita koisia täysin. Ehkä hän muistuttaa sinua joltain – ehkä jopa itsesi. Ehkä te molemmat selisitte hyvin yksinään, hieman tukkareita, viettäen päiviä (muiden) koisten keskellä. Matildaella on vanhaa tyyliltään kaunista ja surullista sielua… Tällä hetkellä Matilda pysyy meidän leirikassassa, jossa hän on turvallisessa, mutta unelmomme ovat rauhallisesta elämästä hänelle – hänen omalla tahollaan. Aikanaan hän todella arvostaisi pitkän matkan adoptioita – auttaen tarpeidensa huolehtimisessa: ruokaa, hoitoa, lämpöä, ja joskus, toivoa kaukaa. Jopa pimeimmät sielut tarvitsevat ketään, joka rakastaa heitä.

Matilda is a mythical creature. Half small dog with short hair, half brown bear with curly fur. She's over 8 years old and doesn't care much for people—but she absolutely adores other dogs. Maybe she reminds you of someone… maybe even yourself. Maybe the two of you would get along just fine, a little grumpy, spending your days among (other) dogs. Matilda has a vintage kind of beauty and a melancholic soul… For now, Matilda remains in our shelter, where she is safe, but we dream of a peaceful life for her—at her own pace. Until then, she would truly appreciate a long-distance adoption —to help provide for her needs: food, care, a warm bed, and, from time to time, a kind word sent from afar. Even the grumpiest souls need someone to love them.
