She allows gentle touch from trusted people, although she is still very shy and cautious. In new situations or when there are too sudden movements, she can get scared and warn with a paw - therefore, it is very important to approach her calmly, patiently, and to be able to read her boundaries. She is still a very sensitive cat, for whom the noise and chaos of the shelter are difficult to bear. She would best find herself in a quiet home, without pressure and expectations, where she could continue to build trust at her own pace. MATYLDA needs a caregiver who understands that each, even the smallest step, is a great success for her. We do know, however, that behind the fear lies a fragile, good heart. MATYLDA is increasingly showing that she wants to trust - she just needs the right people for that. We are looking for a patient and experienced home for her, preferably one that knows the specifics of working with anxious cats. Someone who will give her time, calmness, and a sense of security, without pressuring or forcing contact.
