Monty on Kyprokselta pelastettu koira, joka on Iso-Britanniassa ja etsii täydellistä kotia ikuisesti. Se on pieni terrierityyppinen koiranen, painoltaan noin 7,5 kg, arviolta 3-vuotias ja asuu tällä hetkellä Midlandsin alueella. Montylla oli vaikea alku elämässään. Sillä on puutetta itseluottamuksesta ja se voi tulla ylivoimaiseksi tietyissä tilanteissa. Kuitenkin rentoutuessaan sillä on erittäin iloinen ilme ja häntä heiluu innoissaan, kun se harrastaa lempipuuhaansa: kaivautumista pensaikoihin. Se on saanut hieman enemmän itseluottamusta nykyisten sijaisvanhempiensa kanssa, mutta uuteen kotiinsa muuttaessaan sen rakentaminen vie aikaa. Monty luottaa nopeasti yhteen henkilöön ja hakee tukea juuri siitä. Monty etsii kokenutta aikuisten vain kotia, mielellään terrierikokemuksella varustettua. Se ei pidä kissoista, ja uskomme, että se mieluummin olisi ainoa lemmikki uudessa kodissaan, sillä se voi olla hermostunut myös muiden koirien läsnäollessa. Sen uudet ihmiset tulisi olla valmiita antamaan Montyn sopeutua uuteen kotiinsa omassa tahdissaan. Turvallinen ja suojainen puutarha on ehdoton.

Monty is a rescue from Cyprus who is in the UK and looking for his perfect forever home. He is a small terrier type weighing around 7.5 kg, estimated at 3 years old and currently living in the Midlands area. Monty had a tough start to life. He lacks confidence and can be overwhelmed in certain situations. However, when he is relaxed, he has a very happy face with such a waggy tail as he goes about his favourite job of rummaging around in the undergrowth. He has gained some confidence with his current foster parents, but this will take time to build up when he moves to his new home. He quickly makes a bond with one person and looks to them for reassurance. Monty is looking for an experienced adult-only home, preferably with terrier experience. He is not a fan of cats, and we think he would prefer being the only pet in his new home as he can be nervous with other dogs too. He would like his new human(s) to be prepared to let him adjust to his new home at his own speed. A safe and secure garden is a must.
