- Waiting at the animal shelter in Hungary — Where are the dachshund lovers? Monty is looking for his forever home! Monty is a little dachshund male, born on April 12, 2025, and stands just 26 cm tall at the shoulder. For several days, this little fellow wandered all alone through the streets of Doboz. After we spotted a Facebook post about him, we immediately set out to look for him—though unfortunately, at first, without success. But fate had good intentions for him: Monty eventually ended up in the garden of a kind-hearted man who was able to secure him and promptly informed us. That’s how Monty finally found his way to safety. ❤️ Despite everything he’s been through, Monty has retained his cheerful nature. He’s a sweet, open-minded, and playful little guy who loves human company and simply longs to belong. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and also meets cats in a friendly and gentle manner.On August 7, Monty will be neutered and undergo the Caniv-4D test. Starting August 22, he’ll be allowed to travel to Germany and hopes to soon be snuggled up in the arms of his very own family. Now, all this charming dachshund needs is the most important thing: a loving home where he can stay forever. Where are the dachshund lovers who’d like to give this little treasure a cozy little basket? April 2025, und misst zarte 26 cm Schulterhöhe.Mehrere Tage irrte der kleine Mann ganz allein durch die Straßen von Doboz. Nachdem wir einen Facebook-Beitrag über ihn entdeckt hatten, machten wir uns sofort auf die Suche – leider zunächst ohne Erfolg. Doch das Schicksal meinte es gut mit ihm: Monty lief schließlich in den Garten eines tierlieben Mannes, der ihn sichern konnte und uns sofort informierte. So fand Monty endlich den Weg in Sicherheit. ❤️Trotz allem, was er erlebt hat, hat sich Monty sein fröhliches Wesen bewahrt. Er ist ein lieber, aufgeschlossener und verspielter kleiner Kerl, der die Nähe zu Menschen genießt und einfach nur dazugehören möchte. Mit anderen Hunden versteht er sich hervorragend und auch Katzen begegnet er freundlich und sanft.Am 7. August wird Monty kastriert und sein Caniv-4D-Test durchgeführt. Ab dem 22. August darf er nach Deutschland reisen und hofft, direkt in die Arme seiner eigenen Familie zu ziehen.Nun fehlt diesem bezaubernden Dackel nur noch das Wichtigste: ein liebevolles Zuhause, in dem er für immer bleiben darf.Wo sind die Dackelliebhaber, die diesem kleinen Schatz ein kuscheliges Körbchen schenken möchten?
