Many Nymphensittiche are waiting at the animal shelter this breed in Berlin for a new home. They are very curious, open-minded birds and are therefore particularly suitable for inexperienced bird owners. They are very happy about attention and mental stimulation. The flock birds are rehomed in pairs at minimum, but can also move alone if there is a nice fellow animal waiting in the new home. We place our Nymphensittiche in suitable apartment living as well as in outdoor aviary keeping with a shelter area. For apartment living, the aviary should be at least 1.60 meters long, approximately 50 to 60 centimeters deep, and about 1 meter high for two Nymphensittiche. Additionally, daily flight time and several natural perching spots are important for the birds. In outdoor aviary keeping, the size of the aviary depends on the number of birds. Viele Nymphensittiche warten im Tierheim Berlin auf ein neues Zuhause. Sie sind sehr neugierige, aufgeschlossene Vögel und eignen sich somit besonders für noch unerfahrene Vogelhalter. Über Aufmerksamkeit und Beschäftigung freuen sie sich sehr. Die Schwarmvögel werden mindestens zu zweit vermittelt, können aber auch alleine umziehen, wenn im neuen Zuhause schon ein netter Artgenosse wartet. Wir vermitteln unsere Nymphensittiche in Wohnungshaltung sowie in Außenvolierenhaltung mit Schutzraum. In der reinen Wohnungshaltung sollte die Voliere für zwei Nymphensittiche mindestens 1,60 m lang, ca. 50 bis 60 cm tief und ca. 1 m hoch sein. Außerdem ist den Vögeln täglicher Freiflug und mehrere Anflugstellen aus Naturästen wichtig. Bei der Außenvolierenhaltung ist die Größe der Voliere abhängig von der Anzahl der Tiere.
