Potty trained Penny was thrown out and left to fend for herself — or die. That’s the short version of her story. She suddenly found herself on the street together with her mother and two siblings from the same litter. She never had the chance to be pampered or feel love and care; instead, she survived on scraps left beside dumpsters and dodged car wheels just to stay alive. As soon as we took her in, she fell ill. Thankfully, she recovered quickly and finally got the chance to enjoy her puppyhood the way every dog should. Penny is a young, sweet dog who’s now looking for the right people and a real home. “I’m as mischievous as any young pup, but once I get tired, I fall asleep in a second and stay asleep until morning! ”
