Description Our Spanish animal welfare workers report: The calm and always friendly Pinta was cruelly abandoned by her previous owner because she no longer produced enough puppies to make money. When she was no longer useful, she was discarded. However, Pinta is a wonderful female dog. She gets along very well with the other dogs at the animal shelter and also with the cats living there. Generally, she is a quiet and patient personality and lets everything happen. Under the loving hands of our animal welfare workers, she learns to enjoy the affection of people and wants to cuddle with them. If there are a few treats in the pocket, she becomes particularly curious. So she shows herself to be relaxed and happy on the leash and in the car, enjoying shared activities and movement. Pinta should learn what a loving and beautiful home is like and how great life can be! Hopefully, a family will soon be found for the sweet and wonderful Pinta! Update 11.03.2026 Our colleague Britta at the shelter visited Pinta at her foster home. At first, Pinta was a bit reserved, but after a short time, she took treats and enjoyed being stroked. New photos and videos were taken during the walk. Pinta is very happy to be outside, she has energy, but already pays attention to her foster family. Other dogs find Pinta exciting, she is friendly in contact, sometimes a bit too stormy. But she immediately understands when a dog doesn’t like it. Pinta is really a heart-warming female dog. She is probably a bit younger than stated in the profile, maybe 5-6 years old. 15.02.2026: The foster home reports: The charming Podenco mix female dog from Andalusia not only impresses with her appearance, but also with her character: gentle, tender, very playful, and full of positive energy. The medium-sized female dog doesn’t show her 8 years old when it comes to going outside; she is full of energy when it’s time to go out. She loves to explore her surroundings, walks briskly on the leash. With her, one is sporty on the go, so active people are needed who also love long nature walks like Pinta. She would also be enthusiastic about nose work like search and rescue or dummy training. The gentle beauty was house-trained from the first day and sleeps through the night peacefully. She learns quickly in her foster home and watches a lot from the other dogs. In the house, she is very typical of a quiet female dog and likes to be cuddled in our arms. Pinta bonds closely with her trusted people and is very cuddly, but strangers still scare her. Even unfamiliar paths, big cars, everything is still scary. Her familiar route on the field is loved and she carries the flag proudly at the front. We are looking for a home for this wonderful female dog that is sensitive but also accompanies the female dog in everyday life. Pinta loves all other dogs, so an equally playful only dog would be wonderful, but not necessary. As with most animals from abroad, Pinta will also need to get used to life in the new home, as she knows neither large crowds of people nor the loud city traffic from Spain. But we are optimistic that she will adapt quickly. We wish for her a beautiful home in a more rural environment, for example, on the outskirts of a city, where she can enjoy nature with her people. We are looking for people who are willing to patiently and affectionately help this wonderful dog adapt to life and the new home. This animal was surrendered to the shelter.

Beschreibung Unsere spanischen Tierschützer berichten:Die ruhige und immer freundliche Pinta wurde herzlos von ihrem früheren Besitzer abgegeben, da sie nicht mehr genug Welpen bekam, um damit Geld zu machen. Als sie nicht mehr nützlich war wurde sie entsorgt. Dabei ist Pinta eine wundervolle Hundedame. Sie versteht sich sehr gut mit den anderen Hunden im Tierheim.Generell ist sie eine ruhige und geduldige Persönlichkeit und lässt alles brav über sich ergehen. Unter den liebevollen Händen unserer Tierschützer lernt sie die Zuneigung der Menschen immer mehr zu genießen und möchte gerne mit ihnen kuscheln. Wenn dabei noch ein paar Leckerchen aus der Tasche fallen wird sie besonders neugierig. So zeigt sie sich auch an der Leine und im Auto entspannt und freut sich über gemeinsame Aktivitäten und Bewegung. Pinta soll erfahren, was ein liebevolles und schönes Zuhause ist und wie toll das Leben sein kann! Hoffentlich findet sich bald eine Familie für die süße und wunderbare Pinta! Update11.03.2026 Unsere Vereins-Kollegin Britta hat Pinta auf ihrer Pflegestelle besucht. Anfangs war Pinta etwas zurückhaltend, doch nach kurzer Zeit nahm sie Leckerlies und ließ sich gerne und ausgiebig kraulen. Es wurden neue Fotos und Videos auf dem Spaziergang gemacht. Pinta ist sehr gerne draußen, sie hat Energie, achtet dabei aber bereits auf ihr Pflegefrauchen. Andere Hunde findet Pinta spannend, sie ist freundlich im Kontakt, ab und an eeeetwas zu stürmisch. Aber sie versteht sofort, wenn ein Hund das nicht mag. Pinta ist wirklich eine herzensgute Hündin. Sie ist wahrscheinlich etwas jünger als im Pass steht, vllt. 5-6 Jahre. 15.02.2026: Die Pflegestelle berichtet: Die bezaubernde Podencomixhündin aus Andalusien überzeugt nicht nur durch ihr Aussehen, ihr Wesen ist facettenreich: sanft, zärtlich, sehr lustig und voller positiver Energie.Der mittelgroßen Hündin merkt man ihre 8 Jahre nicht an, sie ist voller Tatendrang wenn es nach draußen geht.Sie liebt es, ihr Umfeld zu erschnüffeln, geht dabei zügig an der Leine.Mit ihr ist man sportlich unterwegs deshalb sind aktive Menschen gefragt, die ebenso wie Pinta lange Spaziergänge in der Natur lieben. Für Nasenarbeit wie Suchspiele oder Dummytraining wäre sie auch zu begeistern. Die sanfte Schönheit war vom 1.Tag an stubenrein und schläft die Nächte ruhig durch. Sie lernt in ihrer Pflegestelle schnell und schaut sich viel von den anderen Hunden ab. Im Haus ist sie rassetypisch sehr ruhig und schläft gerne eingekuschelt in unseren Armen. Pinta bindet sich eng an ihre Bezugspersonen und ist sehr verschmust, Fremde machen ihr aber noch Angst. Auch ungewohnte Wege, große Autos, alles ist noch gruselig. Ihre gewohnte Strecke auf dem Feld liebt sie und trägt dort die Rute stolz oben.Wir suchen für diese wundervolle Hündin ein Zuhause welches sensibel ist, dabei aber souverän die Hündin im Alltag begleitet.Pinta liebt alle anderen Hunde, deshalb wäre ein Ersthund, der ebenso verspielt ist, wunderbar, aber kein Muß. Eine ruhige Wohngegend und ein garten wären der Jackpot für Pinta.22.01.2026: Pinta durfte auf ihre Pflegestelle in Troisdorf ziehen20.12.2025 neue Bilder26.10.2025 neue Videos06.08.2025 neues Video Informationen zum Podenco Wie bei den meisten Tieren aus dem Ausland wird auch Pinta sich erst an das Leben im neuen Zuhause gewöhnen müssen, kennt sie doch aus Spanien weder große Menschenmengen noch den lauten Autoverkehr einer Stadt. Aber wir sind zuversichtlich, dass sie sich schnell einleben wird. Wir wünschen uns für sie ein schönes Zuhause in einer eher ländlichen Umgebung, zum Beispiel am Stadtrand, in dem sie mit ihren Menschen die Natur genießen kann. Wir suchen Menschen, die bereit sind diesen tollen Hund mit Geduld und auf liebevolle Weise an das Leben und das neue Zuhause zu gewöhnen.
