people-oriented, friendly, patient, curious Pitti came to our sterilization campaign in June 2022. We were very shocked by her condition. Her eyes were strongly inflamed and the dog was in a very poor condition. We first did a blood test to see if the female dog could even be spayed. She was very excited in the first days and barked at all the dogs. Pitti is completely blind and has probably been bitten often. However, she quickly realized that she is safe with us and has nothing to fear. Also, the smells and other dogs became more familiar to her. After a few days, you could already walk calmly with Pitti without her wanting to defend herself, but she is only moderately compatible. With people, Pitti is very cuddly and enjoys the closeness. She is positive for leishmaniasis, which is being treated, and her eye inflammation is almost healed. Pitti has very poor chances of being adopted and we are hoping to find godparents for the nice female dog. Pitti will only be rehomed in Greece. They are all vaccinated, microchipped and have an EU passport. They are checked for Mediterranean diseases according to their age. See information on our homepage. menschenbezogen, freundlich, geduldig, neugierig Pitti kam im Juni 2022 zu unserer Kastrationsaktion. Wir waren sehr erschrocken über ihren Zustand. Die Augen waren stark entzündet und der Hund in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Wir haben als erstes ein Blutbild gemacht um zu schauen, ob die Hündin überhaupt kastriert werden kann. Sie war in den ersten Tagen sehr aufgeregt und bellte alle Hunde an. Pitti ist komplett erblindet und wird sicher oft gebissen worden sein. Sie merkte aber schnell, dass sie bei uns in Sicherheit ist und nichts zu befürchten hat. Auch die Gerüche und anderen Hunden wurden ihr immer vertrauter. Nach wenigen Tagen konnte man mit Pitti schon ganz ruhig spazieren gehen ohne das sie sich verteidigen wollte, trotzdem ist sie nur bedingt verträglich. Mit menschen ist Pitti sehr verschmust und genießt die Nähe. Sie ist Leishmaniose positiv, was behandelt wird und ihre Augenentzündung ist fast verheilt. Pitti hat sehr schlechte Vermittlungschancen und wir hoffen Paten für die nette Hündin zu finden. Pitti wird nur in Griechenland vermittelt. sind alle geimpft, gechipt und haben einen EU-Ausweis. Sie werden altersentsprechend auf Mittelmeerkrankheiten gecheckt. Siehe dazu Info auf unserer Homepage.
