These two approximately 2-year-old girls of the breed "Russenkaninchen" were kept in a dark, dirty stable. Poppy & Pixie and Poppy & Pixie were initially very scared and did not dare to enter the enclosure in our foster home. They were also completely unfamiliar with green food. Poppy & Pixie had a bald spot on her back due to malnutrition, but it is now slowly growing back. There is a bump on her nose, likely an untreated bite wound. Poppy & Pixie is the more curious and brave one of the two and will sometimes sniff at your hand. Poppy & Pixie prefers to wait in the background and lets Poppy & Pixie go first. The two are very attached to each other and should therefore only be rehomed together. We welcome inquiries at our shelter. This animal can be anxious in unfamiliar situations.

Diese beiden etwa 2 jährigen Mädels der Rasse „Russenkaninchen“ wurden in einem dunklen, verdreckten Stall gehalten. Pixie und Poppy waren am Anfang total ängstlich und trauten sich auf unserer Pflegestelle nicht ins Gehege. Auch Grünfutter war ihnen gänzlich unbekannt. Pixie hatte wohl durch die Mangelernährung eine kahle Stelle am Rücken, die jetzt aber langsam wieder zuwächst. An der Nase sieht man einen Knubbel – vermutlich eine nicht behandelte Bissverletzung. Pixie ist die Neugierigere und Mutigere der beiden und schnuppert schon mal an der Hand. Poppy wartet lieber im Hintergrund ab und schickt Pixie vor. Beide hängen sehr aneinander und sollen daher nur zusammen vermittelt werden. Anfragen nehmen wir gerne unter entgegen.
