Käännös tulossa.

Please read our Homing Criteria BEFORE applying for any of our dogs.BREED: GOLDEN RETRIEVERSEX: Female (Neutered)AGE: Aprox. 6 YearsSIZE: Large (33kg!)Princess is an absolutely beautiful girl who has come into rescue along with her equally lovely sister, Lisa. We are not seeking to rehome them together but both dogs will need a home with a companion dog, and of course, if someone did wish to rehome both the girls, well, they would have a ready-made and very adorable family! They have come from a very rural home so whilst they are very friendly dogs and affectionate with people, they have no experience at all of the wider, busy world so will need empathic introduction to all the new sights and sounds that they are going to meet. Both dogs have been used to children of school age. They have been used to cats, and are very comfortable with other dogs of all shapes and sizes! They are calm, gentle and biddable dogs. They do walk on the lead but have not had to do so much as they have been used to wandering happily around a farm, so walking them in areas with traffic etc will be a new and probably quite scary experience for them.As we have said, these dogs are not experienced with life in the "normal" world so will need kindness and understanding. They are very good to handle, travel well in the car, and are just such sweet dogs! They have been used to company most of the time. When a dog moves into a new home, they need time and consideration to help them feel confident and settled. They are having to adjust to a totally different environment, with new people and new challenges, and when one adopts a rescue dog, one must be ready to help them through not just the first few days, but for as long as it takes for them to feel comfortable in their new life. They are relying on their new owners to teach them the house rules and all about the new world they are living in. They are likely to need and benefit from dog training classes, and may also need behavioural help and the adopter may need to seek professional advice. If you are considering adopting, please be very sure that you are committed to the needs of your new friend, as they will be relying on you and their life and happiness is literally in your hands. This will last for their lifetime, so please also take an honest look at your age and activity levels and ensure that you are likely to be able to meet their ongoing needs. Please fill in our Application Form if you are interested in adopting this dog(If the animal’s name does not appear in the drop down box on the form - it means the animal is already reserved)
